The director of a large company coerces Gonkerdin an expert tracker and guide of the Lxeerer tribe to do a job for him. Taken to a building that contains a strange machine he learns the terrifying truth of its function. He is plunged into a dimension that is forbidden causing an alarm to be triggered putting Jim, Gail and Norman on his trail. The horrors of the dimension erupt in the director’s quest for an elixir that makes the body invulnerable to give him fame and fortune and a body no one can kill. The meeting with the shadow people and the tracking of the elixir lead to devastating consequences.  

 

The hoverers are a beautiful people in a dimension of little gravity. They live a peaceful and tranquil existence following a lifestyle of floating mid air buildings and food dwellings. Their heat and light come from powerful energy spheroids in the sky above.  On the planet Terrilia in our own dimension of time lived a fierce advanced civilisation who were restricted in movement by the police federation because of their brutal and aggressive ways. By accident or intention, a strange craft falls into their hands allowing access to the dimension of the hoverers. A brutal invasion follows with the Terrilion’s enslaving the population. Jim is devastated that he cannot help the gentle hoverers because of protocol. However, is all what it seems?
